Changes at TOC – Interventional Rehabilitation Department

As we continue to ensure the safety of our patients and comply with both state and federal regulations, we are implementing some new changes in our Interventional Rehabilitation Department (formerly referred to as “Pain Management”). As of June 1, 2017, the following changes will be made:

Patients who are taking benzodiazepine medications (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium, etc.) in conjunction with an opiate will need to be tapered off of the benzodiazepine by the prescribing physician in order to continue receiving opiates from TOC.
We require a monthly appointment for all opiate prescriptions. You will no longer be able to receive a prescription by phone.
Appointments that are abandoned without notice (No-Shows) will be charged a No-Show fee.
Refills will not be filled if the patient No-Shows an appointment.
Any abnormalities in a patient’s urinalysis are subject to immediate dismissal from our clinic.

If you have any questions or wish to schedule an appointment, please call (918) 301-3162.
