I was able to get a "stat" appointment with Dr. Palomino, on a Monday. The same day that I called! Yeah. It was 4 days to the end of the year. He and his staff helped me by: Getting seen on the same day as my call Getting an MRI & reading & approval for surgery & most importantly, Adding a surgery day - December 31st. So that myself & one other patient could get taken care of. I had already met my very large ($5,000) out of pocket maximum for 2015. So waiting until 2016( with an even Bigger out of pocket of $7,500!) would have been very costly for me. Dr. Palomino and staff very professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. I really appreciate what they did. They have an MRI suite in the building. I doubt that I could have gotten in so quickly if that hadn't been the case. Thank you so much! I received excellent care, the MRI technician gave me a CD of the MRI. which helped me. (Yes I went on u-tube!) be more prepared. Post op I have been recovering nicely. Thank you again for all the hard work in getting this done on my schedule. 🙂 Dana

My boyfriend has been seeing Dr. Chalkin for a few months now after a chainsaw accident to his arm. We have always been treated very kindly and with a lot of respect. All of our questions have been answered. Him and his staff have shown nothing but care. He is honest and upfront about the problems you may be facing before and after surgery. We really enjoy his care! Some of the reviews are saying the wait time for apts in not worth it, but in our case, we have no complaints. Yes, our appointments have always ran behind but they have always made up for it and apoligized. When the office is running late they have offered coffee, water, and anything else they can. The first time we went, Dr. Chalkin had a delay that was causing appointments to be an hour behind. BUT he pushed back a surgery that was later that day and would not leave the office until every patient was seen and cared for. That day I knew my boyfriend was in great hands!

I had total shoulder replacement - left shoulder, Feb. 2015 by Dr. Chalkin - I have had wonderful results, it is so nice to be "pain free" in that shoulder and arm - and to have more range of motion than I have had in years. I am now scheduling an appt. with Dr. Chalkin to have the same surgery on my right shoulder. Dr. Chalkin is a wonderful surgeon as well as being a kind and caring person. I can't believe the few negative comments I have read about him. Yes, sometimes you have to wait, but it is always because he is caring for someone else or performing surgery. If you want the best - you sometimes have to wait!

I was referred to Dr Chalkin With a frozen Right shoulder after another "specialist" told me "You're old. 50% use of your arm is all your're going to get." Dr Chalkin tried PT first, & then a simple manipulation under anesthesia followed by 4wks of additional PT. I now have full range of motion again. There was also lots of "interaction" with the insurance covering this injury. Thanks Dr C, for all you did for me, oh & for recognizing that my Right shoulder was the same age as my Left :o).

I am a patient of Dr. Willits. He is so caring and compassionate! I am so thankful that I found him. Wonderful doctor!!
