I wrecked my right knee 25 years ago, playing baseball. After an unsuccessful procedure (different facility), I started to seriously search for a competent surgeon. About 10 years ago, nurses at I.H.S. were talking about this miracle worker at Hillcrest. I asked questions( a lot of questions),of his patients. I spoke to at least 20, and they were of a consensus opinion- I can walk-without pain and my range of motion is restored! Good enough for me. Dr. Yogesh Mittal has replaced both my knees- left about 8 years ago and right was done 1 year ago. Guess what? Not a single twinge after either surgery! REALLY! I SWEAR!! And his staff are all so nice! Now, you have to do physical therapy,and it's not fun ,but what a small price to pay! Steve Tiffin and other assistants were so knowledgable and helpful. In all.surgery notwithstanding, a really good experience. Sincerely, Ed Sanders Just read some of the other reviews. Sincerely sorry you were put off by Drs. bedside manner, but in his defense, he's unbelievably busy! I had to wait almost a year for my last knee. Would I wait again? You bet! And you should ,too. I want his undevided attention in that little cold white room. Is he an egotist? Maybe. Who cares? I just want to walk again with no pain! And I am! And as Isaid earlier, Dr.Steve and all the lovely assistants took exceptional care after surgery. You should call me. his desk may release my cell or home phone. Please don't pass up the best! An aside-my son-in-law is waiting now!

Ive had both knees replaced by Dr. Mittal and Dr. Pace have been doing great. Had back surgery with Dr. Main done excellent.
