The Orthopaedic Center is proud to announce Richard L. Drake, D.O., has joined our group. Dr. Drake is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in disorders of the spine and spinal surgery. He is providing surgical and non-surgical treatment for our patients with spinal disease and is a great addition to a team of physicians committed to returning patients to a pain free, active life.

Dr. Drake completed his medical training and residency in orthopedics at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated with honors and served as Chief Resident. His residency training included pediatric orthopedics at the University of Cincinnati Children's Hospital as well as orthopedic trauma training at Tampa General Hospital. Following residency he completed a Spine Fellowship at the renowned Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Center for Spinal Disorders. His interests include minimally invasive spinal surgery, preservation of motion of the spine, as well as deformity correction and complex spinal reconstruction. Native Tulsans, he and his wife Ainslie have 3 sons, who all enjoy sports, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
