Our physicians and staff appreciate the opportunity to serve your orthopaedic needs. At some point we all become patients and this thought is central to our mission of providing excellent, compassionate care. We will do our best to provide you with all the information you need to understand your injury or condition and welcome your input. Healthcare is a partnership between the patient and provider and we take our role seriously.

Patient Advocacy & Education Department

We understand how overwhelming healthcare can be trying to maneuver through doctor visits, hospital systems and insurance requirements. It can be even more trying if you are uninsured or underinsured. Headed by Pam Cumbie, who has over 40 year’s healthcare experience, we have developed a department to assist you on your most trying days. As YOUR advocate, Pam will guide you through the following aspects of your Orthopaedic Center experience:

  • Determine insurance eligibility
  • Research insurance requirements
  • Provide educational materials for diagnosis
  • Help coordinate with hospital systems
  • Information on community programs
